1. It's not exactly a well-loved thing in the West either
2. She could have been about decade younger and still would have been an adult when she had Gladion and Lillie
3. It's not as if she's presented as a good and noble figure anyway, she's a child abuser and metaphorical drug addict. If anything a teen pregnancy might make her a little more pitiable
