This set can secure a win for stall or hazard offense with such ease it was ridiculous. Also in Ubers it is a good way to fuck with Arceus, Lugia and Xerneas.

Gothitelle was pretty much THE Stall mon because it could pick, lock, and defeat distinct counters to its teammates.
Wobbufett was little more than collateral damage, sadly.

M-Gengar was banned long before Shadow Tag was banned.

M-Gengar was banned because it had ridiculous stats on top of Shadow Tag, not Shadow Tag specifically.

When Gothitelle became a problem, Shadow Tag was banned entirely.
