Recoil moves on relatively low-hp mons like most electric types is just suicide anon.

Most electric types would probably just appreciate a buff to Spark or something instead. And is far more likely to happen too.

In Electric Terrain, the thing's Thunderbolts hit harder than Mewtwo's Psychics.

It was balanced around Electric Terrain, Game Freak knew what they were doing.

I honestly don't know whether to run it physical or special. The special movepool is better, but it does get Brave Bird to crap on grass types that think they can switch in, and it can Roost off the damage. Plus U-turn can be run to escape from Dugtrio.

Yeah, but it kinda screws with the set I have in mind. I was thinking something like Charge/Bird/Roost/U-turn. One or two of the moves could be replaced, like putting in Nature's Madness to mess certain things up on the switch in.

Mewtwo's Psychics are enormously overrated, it's a 90 BP move when the standard for special attacks is 110. A Pokemon with 117 SpA and a 110 BP stab move hits with the same amount of power.

I'm so certain that they were totally unaware of the Ghost-Dark mixup before the physical special split. It had to be an error and they clearly designed Pokemon and moves around it being the other way around in both Gen II and III.
