>>29970221This guy is correct. It only works like this in the US where the timezones are only three hours apart. 6 hours technically if you count Hawaii, but it's still close enough to midnight at that point so Nintendo just says fuck it and uses EST as the basis for releasing it in the whole US.
Everywhere else will get it on its designated day of the 18th whatever time that may be for you.
Except Europe who has to wait an extra 5 days for no reason.
