It's a fake.

There was a graphical glitch in XY where the textures would load grey. They'd return to normal after a SR or something.

It was a super rare glitch in early XY days. Hardly anyone had them. Rare as the planets aligning. Think it was patched.

Do some research I you want to know more, it isn't "legit" like a shiny. No one documents it as something official like a shiny
