When we realized that Kommo-o learned Shell Smash, I wondered what would be the most minimal approach that could bump Pokemon like Hydreigon, teetering on the edge of ranks, up the next one.

I know adding 2 points to its speed would help immensely, but anything move wise that could also do it?

It out damages Flash Cannon even with a negative nature and no EV investment. At least against Mega Gardevoir and Sylveon.

It also has a good enough to attack stat to go mixed.

He's not my favorite, but I don't hate him in those categories. My most hated dragon is Goodra, my most hated dark type is Greninja and my most hated pseudo is Dragonite.

What baffles me is that people hate Hydregion for 'ruining' Deino, which makes no sense because I think this is the most perfect evolution line in terms of all three fitting together in continuation.
