Alolan Geodude line is literally the only Alolan line not shown before release to be an actual surprise.

Why is this allowed

Because pokemon's marketing team don't give a shit about how much of the game they reveal.

Fuck, I knew this. I knew this would happen and told myself I'd ditch everything pokemon when the first trailer hits. How did it come to this?

The only real issue is that they only have Alolan Geodude line as a secret

And the fact that they spoiled the Psuedo, that was dumb
