It's not. They only say that because of the PWT in post game. BW1 is a much more enjoyable game to play throughout.

It's a SEQUEL. Unlike the previous "third releases", B2W2 is an actual, linear BW sequel. completely different story, you're supposed to play the first and then play the second.

BW is better. B2W2 brought so many positives but it ruined so many things in return.
