Even in his own continuity I don't think he's considered particularly good. He's gotten a lot of badges mostly just out of pity, and he always chokes in the league

Movies aside he's mediocre as fuck, and judging from all the pity badges and people like Cameron, getting to the League Tournament is easy.
The real challenge is the E4 and Champion, everything prior is a fucking joke.
