Nothing. The last time Nintendo did a ban like this, it inadvertently affected thousands of perfectly legit consoles as well.

Your ban will be lifted in 2 weeks and you will likely be added to some sort of list where Nintendo can monitor your use of their service.

Afterward, you'll regain online access and will be able to play online, hacked or otherwise.

They got banned not because they pirated, but because they went online when they shouldn't.

Because they currently do not have system in place to actually tell if you are using a legit or hacked copy online.
This is why these bans were given out via account in the first place. Nintendo legitimately did not expect fans to be able to access the game or their online service for the game so early. This is the most they are able to do atm. We'll just have to wait and see if they plan to establish any additional consequences in the future.

Let's say I'm buying sun, yea? But I'm poor, so I have the illegal moon copy just for shits basically. If I were to go online with the pirated copy of Moon after the game comes out, Nintendo can't tell if I'm using a legit copy or not, correct? I'm assuming the bans were because of when they logged on, not because Nintendo can detect if they have a legit copy.
