What do you mean "amazon" delivers?
Amazon has nothing to do with it once it's shipped.

It depends entirely on the postal service and when the they usually make their rounds.

UPS usually comes to my area around 1pm.

I've placed an order, hopefully getting it on the release so my hopes of a decent new Pokémon game can be crushed by unskippable cutscenes and easy breezing. XY was fun first but after Diantha, I just felt empty. I just... I just want that Pokémon feel. I was hoping they would do better this time but judging by what I've read here, it seems they... Well... Didn't. At least significantly.

I'm rather pessimistic, but there's a bit of a bubbling excitement going on as well. We shall see.

I ordered my copy on the 16th (and late in the afternoon) and I got mine around 12:30 today. My status also said I'd get it by 8pm, however it had been "out for delivery" since 6:45am.

This was the first time I had anything delivered through AMZL. Since it's Amazon's own delivery service, I assume that the time it takes to arrive mostly depends on how close you live to an Amazon facility (in my case, the facility was only a few towns away).

Technically that Referral Discount took away $5, but come the fuck on it was $8 for shipping. If it wasn't for that discount, I would've paid more than physically buying it. There's a customer service link you can go to for them to call you.

I got in contact with them fairly quickly for a call center. They basically told me to ask my neighbors if they happen to have my package because USPS "scanned" the package.

They gave me an extra month of prime at least. I'm going to have to call them tomorrow to ask for them to bitch out USPS.
