Eurobros, would it be possible to change my 3DS region to US or AU to download Pokémon S/M from their eShop? I have a physical copy of Sun preordered from Amazon coming next week, I was thinking I would get a digital Moon copy.

I'd normally just be patient and wait until next Wednesday but I'm having a shit time and just want to play something to keep me occupied. I know a few of you have done it, how did you go about doing so? Does it require you doing a factory reset of your DS? I imagine I'd lose some of my previously installed digital content like PMSD and my themes but I don't mind too much.I have a box copy of PSMD now anyway.
