I can understand memorizing a couple dozen of the type matchups, and knowing one or two weaknesses to each type, because that is enough to get buy.
But you are literally saying people should waste their time by having every single matchup memorized. And putting that much effort into something so silly is ACTUALLY CLINICALLY AUTISTIC.
Especially when the games never actually give you the type chart. You have to look it up yourself or learn through trial and error, and for someone new to the series that would take a LONG ASS TIME. Gamefreak just cut out the middle man and let newbies learn type matchups while playing normally, without having to get frustrated at the game.
You are bitching about a feature added to help people ease into the series, and are going into literal autistic rage because Gamefreak had the NERVE to add a feature for someone other than you.
