2DS. I've had both in the past. I use a New 3DS XL currently and the only reason is it was free. Nintendo basically catfished us with these new 3DS models because there is like 2-3 games total which actually use the added features like the second analog stick. For the price of a 2DS nowadays it is absolutely the better buy. That is unless you get some kind of ASMR effect from snapping your 3DS lid open you autist.

Chaining might be the easiest shiny method so far, at least more lucky than hordes or breeding ever were for me.

Cleffa and Bounsweet so far, aiming for Pichu, Bagon and Cutiefly next.

I caught a Shiny Ledyba in X. It was actually while I was looking for a male Ralts, which took me hours and I somehow got a shiny Ledyba before it.

Found a Shiny Mudbray while fucking around on the Nursery route and that solved my dillema of having nothing I wanted to use in my final team slot that didn't overlap types.

I liked Shiny Mudbray more than Mudsdale, though.
