>Revenge kill with Pikipek's Rock Smash
>Fail to
>Pikipek lives a Thunder Shock but is at a sliver of health left
>Meowth pops out. Game Over.

Yes I'm pretty tilted right now. The simple decision of not starting with Pikipek ended the whole run, just like that.

Please tell me it gets easier.
