Honestly, I kinda wish I was going in this game blind.

I haven't been surprised at something in a playthrough since gen 2

Maybe I'll avoid the internet entirely for gen 8

It's not as nice as it sounds. Seems like you guys have had time to process the fact that they're changing old pokemon types.

Going in blind it's a mild feeling of disgust because all those years of knowledge of the game's pokemon and types is suddenly worthless.

Also, new Rattata/Raticate look like shit. And Muk is too gay pride for my liking.

You have to commit to not coming to /vp/ and avoiding all Pokemon related news stories from the moment a new game is released. There's never many significant changes between games so even small news can spoil a lot.

I've no problem with not coming here because /vp/ is terrible but avoiding all things Pokémon might be difficult.
