I decided to FireRed Moemon in the meantime but since I've replayed RBY and FRLG so many times I wanted to try something different
Instead of Nuzlocking/randomizing I'll use a team you choose
every dubs decides a member on my team (keep in mind it has to be obtainable pre-E4 in FireRed)
I'll be soloing with my starter until I get to the first pokemon you choose and then I'll start building the team
