I actually like this idea.Maybe just 1 split evolution for fighting/ground as the combo doesn't exist and would be more fitted for an underdog theme.
Explanation could be that these crabrawler's had lost their fights and remained on the ground, but then adapted with the split evolution

Don't. There are better Pokémon for your team. My Frooty Loop Toucan can do fighting moves better than it. He's still a cool crab though.
