Is it possible for me to lower affection?

I played with my Pokemon in Refresh too much and it now gets boosted EXP. However, I don't actually WANT the boosted EXP and want to get rid of it.

I don't see an option in PkHex to reset this or anything. Any way to get rid of the Affection Level completely?

I think hitting your Pokemon lowers the affection right?

Yeah it does, but it never goes down a level of affection.

trading it to someone else and back reset affection...or atleast it did in gen

That only happens if the pokemon isn't yours.
