Well, I think it's Rowlet. Incineroar fits Kukui almost perfectly, as does Popplio with Hau.

Litten fits Sun the best
Rowlet fits Moon (Chicken-chan) the best

How the fuck does Popplio fit Hau? It's not even his signature pokemon, Alola Raichu is. Popplio would fit with Moon best, or would anyway if it ever got any love, which it doesn't.

As for the Kukui, he doesn't fight you in his Masked Royal persona so him having Incineroar doesn't necessarily matter.

They're both wrestlers, and Kukui's line of work has him make Pokemon perform moves on him similar to how wrestlers would to each other. They're perfect for each other.

Red: Him having Pikachu and the other three starters are canon. Out of the original three, it would be either Bulbasaur or Charmander due to many reasons, including artwork, the tv series (Origins and Generations) etc.

Green/Blue Oak: Charmander or Squirtle

Gold: Cyndaquil. Totodile goes to Silver and Chikorita goes to Crystal/Lyra.

Brendan: Mudkip or Treeko. Before the remakes, it was pretty much Mudkip. But after them, the one he is featured the most with is the Treeko line.

Lucas: Turtwig
Dawn: Piplup
Barry: Chimchar

If that happened then wouldn't Kukui be missing one? Or alternatively Hau just doesn't have one since Raichu is his main pokemon anyway. Either way, Popplio gets the short end of the stick by either having an awful trainer or not existing.
