I wanted to stick some reserve Pokemon in the day care to gain levels while I play through the main game, but apparently that doesn't work anymore. Can I do that with Isle Evelup, or do Pokemon only gain EVs there, not levels?

They do gain levels, but it's pretty slow unless you have it all upgraded. I've currently placed some random pokemon there in a 99 exp gathering cycle, will end in two days. Just want to check how much it will give me.

When I enter a battle and the game tells you your pokemon "wants to be petted", do you have to pet it a certain amount? Gets really annoying shaking before every battle.

Are there downsides to not petting it when the game is telling you it wants it?

I've heard people claim that it is now possible to achieve that without injection or RNG abuse. Namely, *supposedly* when a pokemon calls for help the one that arrives will always have better IVs than the one that called, so in theory if you have a ditto do 100+ calls for help then you'll get a 31 IV ditto eventually.

I'm not sure if that's actually true, though.

Also RNG abuse is not hacking; no foreign code is ever injected into the game. The game itself generates everything by itself. So my stable of dittos that I personally RNG'd back in gen5 are not hacked. So there.

There's no RNG manipulation in gen 7, and you can't transfer old gen Pokemon into gen 7 yet.

Depends on what you want. Both have the same base power so they're about the same use in 1v1, and the two have use in doubles. Bug Buzz hits multiple targets while Pollen Puff has healing options. Only thing is that Bug Buzz is a sound move so Soundproof blocks it while Pollen Puff wouldn't be, but still.

but saving right before the battle and soft resetting to get new nature works so it must be set on encounter. Bring repel and a mon around level 50 so that you don't run into anything else to save time.

So far I've gotten cafes, fortune teller tents, lotto stands, bouncy houses, shops... I think that's it.
The cafes can either boost EVs, Level, or Friendship depending on what kind it is. The lottos have prizes you draw once a day. Bouncy houses raise certain EVs depending on what time it is. Fortune Teller tents give you new phrases. Shops have stuff to buy.

There's aldo ghost houses (fuck if I know what they do) and dye shops (dye your white clothing a specific color with FC, or any color by spending berries. * is pastel colors, ** is dark colors, *** is either. 'Normal' colors are version locked unless you buy them from a park goer.)
