PSA: HOW TO FIX SUN/MOON DIFFICULTY
1) Turn off the indicators for effective moves. It breeds laziness
2) Give everyone an extra pokemon. EVERYONE. The distribution is ridiculous, at least make people wear out their resources a bit more
2.b) Why the hell no one in double battles (except for ONE story related) on the entire game have more than one pokemon? Fix that shit. Make more double encounters. Make use of the new abilities introduced for double battles. Make more trainers like the red card guy and the one swapping the flame orbs instead of four thousand youngster fuckface with a single pokemon
3) Stop with the healing between battles all the time. The Aether mission where you fight the grunts/Guzma/Lusamine in sequence could have been great if they didn't kept healing your entire team. What's the point of buying resources and managing your moves carefully if someone will heal you up every ten seconds?
4) Remove medicine from Refresh. Again, what's the point of buying healing items when you can do it for free after every battle? They already ruined poison by removing the DoT when you're not in battle, now its definitely a non issue.
5) Do your dumb trials if you want to, but you still need to beat the captain. They need to test you in several aspects and pokemon battles are one of them too. Ilima was the only one done right in this aspect
6) Make totems scale with the player + x levels. They're challenges carefully crafted by the captains for the trial. If a captain thinks he's going to test my ability by sending a gumshoos 8 levels lower than my weakest pokemon then that captain is fucking retarded
