Why did Lillie gave you Lunala saying she wouldn't be the one for it since she is not a trainer but at the end she just goes to Kanto to have her own adventure? I actually felt bad for taking Lunala too.

Because she's just starting her journey, so she still lacks the expertise to properly train Lunala or give it the challenge and excitement it craves. Not to mention that she'd feel like she'd just continue to depend on Lunala instead of growing strong on her own. I still felt bad though.

Fuck you could even just keep everything the same and make Kanto entirely postgame like in Johto, only with updated movesets/mons/people.

Yeah it has a multiscale ability and some special bulk, but that typing doesn't seem that great, SpA and Speed leave something to be desired.
