However, I'm trying to imply that Calem feels as if news crews are following him pretty much wherever he goes in this scenario; and I don't think it's too big a stretch, given that Kalos (like every other region with a League) treats its League Champions, current and former, as if they were celebrities. As such, Calem picked the lab; it's a place of absolute seclusion and secrecy, above all else. This way, their reputations as Trainers would not suffer, no matter how his confession turned out. And besides all that... I took inspiration from the one where Serena took charge for the location, as well as for Calem's more chipper and nurturing side. I liked the idea of the act taking place there; what more can I say?
