Soaring was one of the coolest features ever added to a Pokemon game. Why couldn't they have carried it over? When I saw I had Charizard with a saddle I was beaming at the thought of soaring around Alola on him.

How disappointing.

It wasn't useless. It was a perfectly fine way to get from one place to another. It wasn't a lot slower than flying especially if it was nearby.

It let you access secret spots like Mirage spots and hidden legendary areas. It was amazing soaring around the whole continent and seeing it in person in one piece for the first time in a Pokemon game. Made it feel real.

You get to fly on a fucking Pokemons back anywhere you want and you control it why do I have to say why this is a cool thing ? I understand the gen 6 hateboner is strong on this board but at least see the virtue of a feature.

They literally said that it was something reserved for remakes, that they "may" use on another remake.

It's whole purpose is to show the player the same region on a new light. It's useless for new regions.

Limited Utility, but I hope something like it comes for the new remakes.

The general consensus is that SM is on par with difficulty. Even then you make the games even easier when you transfer your 6IV 510 EV invested mons into the game and go "WOW WHY IS THIS SO EASY?"

I'm kinda upset there's no variation with the trial themes

I don't think you need a song for reminding you you're about to get your ass handed to you on a silver platter

>Super Training
Never bothered with this and as far as I'm concered it's just more mini game bullshit. Even then everyone else used horde battles and now use Poké Pelago to raise EVs

>Hordes
The game lags bad enough as it is. Why the fuck you want to run a slideshow?

>Soaring
Another useless feature? Fly exists. Why do you need an overglorified Final Fantasy aircraft? Sure it was cool the first few days but that got real stale real fast

Anyone that hated following Pokemon, Auto run, and fucking Super Training has objectively terrible taste. All of them had absolutely no downsides and only added positively to the game

I was forced to use the dowsing machine in ORAS because of this. I really dislike the difference in speed because I want to be gentle with the sliding button. If it was an option, sure. But GF doesn't do much in the way of options.
