Guys I'm gonna start my new Pokémon sun and moon run soon, but I'm torn between golisopod and araquanid. Could any of you tell me the pros and cons of both.
>how early can I obtain them
>how good are they in game
>which one would you recommend

Ferocious mon, shit ability. Built-in eject button forces a switch at 50% health, which is good if you can work around it but kinda shit otherwise. Good signature in First Impression, which is basically a beefy Fake Out.

Pic related. It gets double damage on water attacks, which means Scald is even more GOAT. It's a water bug that drowns other bugs in its bubble, it's hella cool, and it's got good stats.

It has worse defenses than caterpie and can't learn anything but Struggle Bug and Hidden Power -both special- until it evolves, and good luck dealing any damage from that 20 Sp.A.
