BW2 are the first games in the series to go "hey, maybe we should give the player some variety in early route Pokemon, instead of having to wade through three routes of normal and bug-types". That alone makes them okay by me.

Probably my top 3, Sun/Moon is very quickly gaining ground to replace one of them though.

Diamond/Pearl were shit, fun for first 3D Pokemon but all the Pokemon were shit, the characters sucked, nothing except maybe the legendarys and Luxray were cool.
