Why couldn't you just give us Super Training again?
There was literally no reason not to just have a little minigame that let you control your stats.
But nah throw together a whole Wifi system with a random shop mechanic, make some daffy ass overextended island system, and cap it all off with having to earn 96bp to get all the items required to fully train your pokemon, which you needed to do in the first place to even earn the points.
Suck my dick, Gamefreak. You always fucking do this shit when you don't have to. Perfectly good mechanic thrown in the toilet every gen, like you're shedding weight to fit into an ugly party dress.
