I've used it to dump semi-rare/sought after mons for people who start the game, like rockruff, stufful, mimikyu etc. I reckon it must be nice for those of them who wanted to play through with them.
Oh and I also threw the lion legendary and plan to throw all others legendaries/ultra beasts later on since I don't intend to play this game again after I beat it.
