At least /vp/ has common sense. I've been to anime cons in real life where people bitch about how "they be too many white folk in anime we need more people of color".
Then someone asks them if asians are POC. They say yes. "but aren't most anime characters asian" the respond with "shut up cracka."
Although I think Pokemon is doing a good job with "diversity". A nice blend of all types of trainers. No forced pandering or anything. Based Japan after all. Few white people there. Few asians there. Few darked skinned guys there. And there we have it.
