I'm having a shit time lately, I'd appreciate a comfy thread. Do you have any new favourites this time around after starting Sun and Moon? What do you like about them? Do you have any headcanons about your favourites?
Alongside my forever bro Snorlax, Oranguru is now my joint favourite Pokémon of all time. I really loved the idea of it possessing such intelligence and how eerily human-like it is. Its description on the official website states it's allegedly been seen using Pokéballs. It's also incredibly kind and provides medicine and food for the Pokémon it shares its forest with. I kind of like that because of it's intelligence it's notoriously difficult to handle for inexperienced trainers. It reinforces that it would be a partner/equal in terms of the relationship dynamic between it and its trainer which I think is awesome.
