Been trying to get an Espeon all day.

>spend a bunch of fc at cafe for meals to increase friendship
>lots of pampering, bean feeding, petting
Been leveling it up all day, anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Once you max it's friendship, you have to level it up during the day. Also, affection is not the same thing as friendship so refresh will not help you.

Go train on Mt Lanakila for exp, you get like 10 happiness points per level.

The easiest way is to just hatch an Eevee. You get a bunch of easy happiness just leveling it up from lv 1.
