Sooooooo....... What's up with these guys, anyway? They don't learn Cosmic Power or anything, but their bubbles are like astronaut helmets. Is that just a coincidence? Dewpider sounds like Jupiter, (I assume that's not actually how it's pronounced though,) and Araquanid seems like some alien, like something you'd see underneath the ice sheets of Europa.

Definite spacey vibe from these two.

Both are based on a diving bell spider, which uses air pockets to breathe underwater. Dewpider and Araquanid are essentially that, but backwards. Although Dewpider might be based on a bacteriophage just because.
