Who complains about dialogues should play something not classified as a JRPG, specially one that mostly targets kids.
Who complains about too many interruptions is most likely not exploring at all. I took a lot of time to get where I am, but that's mostly because I'm taking my time to do (almost) everything I can (for the first time ever I want to completely fill the Dex).
For example, after defeating Hala, instead of going straight to the boat to Akala, I decided to do everything I could in Melemele. That took me nearly 2 hours (nearly cut-scene free, except for maybe Ilima's rebattle and the janitor on the mall side-quest, both of which I'm not even sure if are actual cut-scenes.
