First of all fuck Kanto. Its been sucked off enough already through X and Y and SM.

1. Any region other than Kanto
2. An expanded Ultra Space with more Ultra Beasts with wild encounters and such. Make it Distortion World tier.
3. A return of the PWT would be great but I would rather have them bring back the characters and just put them in a new Battle Frontier facility.
4. Most importantly don't take such a huge focus away from the fact that this is YOUR Pokemon adventure. SM became all Lillie's after Ether Paradise. I would rather they did this Gladion since he is a million times better.

I mostly play older JRPGs, I've never experienced the cutscene bloat of modern JRPGs. I don't care if the rest of the genre has gotten worse, that doesn't mean Pokémon should follow the leader. We have different definitions of cutscenes. When you get interrupted by an NPC for plot related reasons and it takes more than a minute to get through it even when you're mashing A, that's a cutscene.

I just got to the first mountain on the third island, and I have a playtime of 35 hours. A lot of that is me catching every Pokémon on a route, but a lot of it is the neverending cutscenes.

Most Pokémon games don't take an hour to get your starter. I can go through an entire town in most games without being forced into more than one cutscene (with the definition of cutscene just being a few lines of dialogue).

He(Female) is right to an extent. Each game kind of explores different aspects of Pokemon and the world. Gen 1 was kind of a mix everything and nothing simply just being the first game with next to know story. Gen 2 had the stuff with team rocket and forcing pokemon to evolve and so on and so forth.

This is likely. I felt fine in the second island when I was just doing the three trials, but when Lillie and Aether showed up my patience decreased. I think I've been putting off playing the game because I know Lillie is going to get a lot more prominent than she already is later into the game.
