Getting berries is extremely easy, you should never have any trouble with having enough by the time you get Lv. 3 of the island.

It does lower by 10, but by the final level of the island each 1 berry you plant can yield about 14 of them, and you can have like up to 18 berries planted at a time.

It's great. Not something that I think really benefits me in terms of straight-up gameplay (battles etc) but in terms of comfiness it's godly.
I really hope they keep it in or even expand it in the future, it along with Refresh make this game so much better due to it being comfy as fuck.

Is the sauna island really only used for hatching eggs? Does it do anything else to other Pokemon? Like lower their EV's or up their happiness?

There's no reset-all like the Reset Bag. Just berries, or paying ridiculous amounts for each individual stat at the Festival Plaza.

Unless you have a shit ton of eggs and are busy doing something else, it doesn't really help that much. I had one in there for over 12 hours and they never went past "may take a while". All it was was a Litten egg too. It hatched in a few minutes with a flame body magby and tauros running up that route below.

Protip: the max level of the treasure island just gives you a path that pulls from all item tables. Low priority. Second level, however, gets you an evolution stone path.

While we're talking bout evs, is there any way to tell for sure that you maxed a stat all the way or if your mon can't gain anymore ev points? I know there's a stat screen in every pokemon's summary, but I'm not entirely sure how to read it

I am curious about pelago, specifically the beans.
Say I send my little pokechus off to do something for, say, an hour. and then I put two hours worth of beans into the thing- did I just waste that extra hour?
Does it rollover?
Does it tick down in real time, so I can take advantage of it for an hour after my first group is finished, or do I just lose it?
I don't currently have the game with me to check.

Berry Tree on Rt. 10 has all the EV reducing berries

Since watering berries is no longer a thing you can just plant a bunch of them every day or two to farm them

EV training/Level Up Island is kind of shit though. Takes fucking forever.

I decided to try out the patterned and rainbow beans in refresh. I'm not sure about the patterned guys, but the Rainbows seem to give you upwards of 100 hearts. I gave a fresh mon 2, patted it twice, and had 5 affection.

The beans either boost potency of whatever you're doing or shortening the time everything takes.

Example: pokemon can be put in the gym for 99 sessions, each session is 30mins. When you fill the crate up it basically halves that time for each session for as long as the buffs in the crate are active. The crate does roll over.

For treasure hunting if it say takes 20 hours and you load the crate and the crate has a duration of 10 hours, it's just saying that the speed of time elapsing is doubled for those 10 hours. That would mean the 20 hours would be done in 10 hours. If you only had 5 hours on the crate you would still have 10 hours left. If you had 20 hours in the crate, you would be able to do two missions.

The bucket buffs and remaining time remain even after completion, you can even buff before you send pokemon off in general bu that would be marginally wasteful.

Berries are important because stat resets, the gym isnt so important because we have bouncy castles in the plaza. The spa isn't that important because hurdur rainbow beans and plaza. Treasure can net items for bottlecaps, but honestly if you need bottlecaps you can just ask someone with hacks to send you some gold ones.
