I had given up on this series after the blunder that was X/Y, I was so dissatisfied with that game that I couldn't finish it. I don't frequent this board, but I cam here to say this -
What the fuck. Why is Sun/Moon so fucking good? I wasn't expecting this at all, it's like a breath of fresh air compared to the other games in the series.
Not only that, but it just feels better designed, better written, more challenging, more thought put into pokemon placement. A lot of the new pokemon are kind of goofy or overdesigned, but still endearing in a way. I actually care about the characters and the story.
Do other people feel the same way? It feels like a total black sheep, I haven't enjoyed a pokemon game like this since HG/SS.
