Yes, the timeline. The order in which the events of the games happen. Since all mainline pokémon games have clear connections to each other, including recurring characters and references to past events, it's obvious that there is a timeline.

Because anon we're clearly working with multiple dimensions here. It's the many earth's theory anon, each get is its own dimension. There is no shared timeline.

The different dimensions thing doesn't affect the timeline. ORAS and RSE are canonically said to be completely different dimensions, yet they happen at the same time.

And that whole multidimension bullshit doesn't even apply to XY and SM in the first place because they're both in the same world where mega evolution exists.

Now stop trying to make things more complicated than they are and forcing this "NOTHING AND EVERYTHING IS CANON THE TIMELINE DOESN'T MATTER" shit.
