>>30213617There's no point in making Sinnoh remakes when you can play Sinnoh games on 3DS, and they aren't horribly outdated. Kanto games are the only ones you can't play on 3DS and they even lack a Physical/Special Split.
Kanto remakes are coming, like it or not. I say remakes, but they'll be sequals, not actual remakes, I hope.
Personally, I'm looking forward to it. Kanto is the most nonlinear region. With the emphasis they put on story nowadays, we'll like see the Gym Leaders getting a lot more screentime. It makes me worried that it might become more linear because of that, but I think it'll still be a worth it.
I would love to see some of the best characters in the series return. Giovanni, one of the best evil team Leaders, might make a comeback. Blue, the best rival, is definitely making a comeback. Silver, the second best rival, might make a comeback.
I would also be interested in seeing how the region itself has changed. For example, Sabrina is no longer a Gym Leader. Who took her place? Cinnabar Island doesn't exist anymore. Is Blaine still in the cave, or have they made an Underground City in Seafoam caves.
Kanto has a lot of potential. GF just didn't have the tools to bring that out during FRLG's time.
