I'll start:
>Oshawott is a cute starter and Samurott looks cool
>Pokemon games are usually so easy that I don't mind them going more story focused
>Hau is a good character and one of the better rivals in the series
>Black and White 1 is a great game and being linear doesn't really detract much from it
