Does Sun/Moon have the overall darkest Pokedex Entries of any gen?

It seems like most of them have to do with Pokemon eating and killing.

Alola isn't a very popular place in the world of Pokemon. They don't even have a league, man. You can't expect the firmware of their Pokedexes to really accomodate to an influx of tourism just yet by sugarcoating entries like most other regions.

What actually stunned is they actually refrence them in game and the characters comment on it. I never thought they would ever acknowledge the pokedex with how dark the entries are.

I mean, look at humans, the smartest yet most violent race to exist.

Also for example, think about some human tribes and all their fucked up rituals and how they don't give a fuck about other tribes, or cannibalistic tribes. Humans would have the most edgy pokédex entries ever.

Ghost-types are intrinsically unrealistic. So I'd say their entries get a pass as "realistic" descriptions aren't possible.

That said, this is a Japanese franchise. Japan is full of horrific supernatural myths. So even if they attempted a realistic approach, it wouldn't be off base for them to be dark.

I looked it up on Youtube and the MC was just standing there in this tense moment with a big goofy smile on his face, killing the tension of the moment. I was just focused on this dipshit the whole time instead of Lillie.
I'm all in favor of a talking MC if it just means they can better express themselves in the story. That seems to be what GF's going for over gameplay now at least.

They're more like animals now. I prefer that as opposed to Pokemon being this separate species with high enough intelligence to have human levels of comprehension that are utilized to make physical labor much, much easier but are never harvested for their fur, nails or meat.

Rarely do episodes in the anime crossover to showing how fucking dangerous unchecked Pokemon are. The whole "you need a Pokemon with you before you venture out into the wild" makes it so that anything from wild Spearow to Poochyena don't fuck you sideways.
