Friendship has to be the worst fucking mechanic in these games. All I want is a god damn psychic rat that surfs on its own tail and I'm stuck walking back and forth for hours just to get this fucking rodent happy enough to evolve.

I did that for 20 minutes and the fucking thing failed on help almost every time. The 3 times it was successful it called another pichu.

Every time you use an item on him his happiness goes up. Just use the same two TMs on him over and over until he maxes out.
