A-Muk is god-tier in main game while A-Marowak is trash but in competitive A-Marowak is leagues ahead due to how many of the meta threats he straight up cockblocks. A-Muk is may favorite design though and will always be my nigga.

His lack of ghost moves until late game is unfortunate, but tms are your friends.
Flame charge, brick break, the many rock options, along with bonemerang give him nice coverage. Thick club means that a super effective attack usually means a KO.
Definitely a strong presence throughout the game, unless you try to use him without a club.

In my opinion Marowak really can't run many diverse sets. The only real question is if you should run Rock Head, or Lightning Rod.

Flame Charge is generally better unless you're dealing with some ludicrously bulky Steel types like Mega-Scizor/Mega-Metagross. Fire Punch is better though, but you can't get it atm.

How the fuck is that even a question? Lightning Rod is way better. It gives you an entire immunity that shuts down Volt-Switch users like Tapu Koko and Xurkitree.
