So I grinded a male Salandit to nearly 40 before realizing it couldn't evolve.

Is it worth starting from scratch with a female?

It's an OK Pokemon but not worth that much. When my team was too weak to rock and ground, Salazzle was the one who had to leave.

It's speed and special attack will be worse but the def and sp. Def will come out about the same as salazzle's actually. I got a female but still keep an eviolite male around for her to bully
