>>30254294I detailed this strategy, used by the #6 on the ladder, in the last thread where I posted my meta report. This strategy was apparently noticed by Wolfe Glick because he did a competitive analysis video for Eevee.
What you'll need to remember is that Eevee is fucking weak and is not holding Eviolite (needs Eevium Z for the move). This also means the enemy has used his Z-Move and you can expect it not to be a factor in the rest of the battle. The enemy also used 2 fodder pokemon that don't contribute to the rest of the battle in order to set up Tapu Lele and Arcanine, so if you can kill just one of them the battle will swing in your favor. You could also use any move like Roar, Destiny Bond, Perish Song, or Psych Up yourself to beat this strategy.
smeargle eevee lead: eevee extreme evo boosts while smeargle Follows Me, then Eevee baton passes to arcanine. arcanine spams heat wave.
Tapu Lele comes in and Psychs Up on the allied arcanine and gets +2s everywhere as well. You actually want the Smeargle to die fast so that you can
get Tapu Lele to come in.
Tapu Lele has sitrus berry and spams Dazzling Gleam. Sometimes baton pass to Tapu Lele if the enemy resists fire or has ground moves, or
if you suspect the enemy has metagross in the back or something and you want to bring out arcanine later for the Intimidate. Eevee has Eevium Z, probably a few speed EVs,
helping hand, baton pass, extreme evoboost, and something else.
