I've done things like breed for a base and modifying stats, skipped EV training to get my shit straight, injected legendaries that nobody is willing to trade or asking for stupid shit for, flooding wondertrade with good pokemon when I get tired of getting shitmon from, going through the GTS and fulfilling those requests that have to have been made by an eight year old, etc.
For Sun/Moon autism: I spent twenty minutes resetting for a female Popplio and once I had it changed the nature. The IVs for all of my pokemon have been absolute shit (we're talking single digits with the highest stat being the attack stat that it doesn't use), but I haven't changed them because I think that'd ruin the random dice roll feel it has.
