Caught a Cutiefly for my Dex in Melemele Meadow, absolutely didn't think I'd use it because I wanted Golisopod for my resident Bug. I only had 2 Pokémon that I was actually raising, and letting dex fodder soak up EXP Share to snag a couple easy evolutions for the dex, and Bumbles was no different.
Holy shit, Draining Kiss was all it needed to stay alive through the game once it evolved. I even put off learning Dazzling Gleam until the League because he made such a surprising tank. It helps that it's faster than most Alola Pokémon, but goddamn. Unexpected bro.
