They're Pokemon and are available in-game so yes. The game throws multiple of your version exclusive at you so you can trade on the GTS for what you don't have if you want.

Almost all of the UBs i catched lasted only one ball, some of them resisted but i wasted a max of 3 balls in guzzlord, they are really easy to catch.
