So what exactly is this thing and what purpose does it serve in the game?
It's not a standard Ultra Beast because of regular pokeballs working on it, and it's placement in the game seems like GameFreak just threw it in the game and called it a day, none of the NPCs talk about it (except for Looker) and it's instantly forgotten about afterwards when you catch it despite it being a really mysterious pokemon
