>>30313851>That's pretty pathetic for an open world game you know.as opposed to Sun/Moon's BARELY 20-hour story (and that's if you're taking your time)?
also note how I sid "easily" for 50 hours, if you really want to you can put 200+ hours for full completionism.
>empty, near lifeless world.in what way? also once again it is a much better world than Alola. you can walk in any direction for a long time and not encounter a cutscene, and it's filled with enemies that can actually be challenging and fun to fight, and I would say something about the graphics but that wouldn't be a fair comparison since Sun/Moon is a handheld game.
>>30313883you can't be serious. in pokemon. you the MC literally have like six lines of dialogue throughout the whole game and your choices don't mean shit, the characters you talk to all say the same thing no matter what you say, the story always turns out the same, and the OTHER characters are pretty shit--Hau is generic happy-go-lucky friend, Lillie is generic anxiety-ridden moe-blob who people are praising because she has some lauaghably basic character development which ONLY seems good in comparison to other pokemon games...
look I'm not saying The Witcher 3 is the greatest game ever, nor am I saying that I don't like Sun/Moon, but pokemon story has never held a candle to actual good video game stories and Sun/Moon is no exception. just because they improved it doesn't mean it's actually great or something.
The Witcher 3 BTFO Pokemon Sun/Moon in pretty much every way.
